Change by michaelmknight Change by michaelmknight
As most of my friends here on DA know, I'm in the UK, but I believe in this man. The concept of this deviation is that the grubby, tainted American flag is what Bush has done to the country. The bright Obama logo, reflects the new America & a brand new start. The fist? well this is the fist of change.

This is a Poster, I will not be making a wallpaper out of this. If anyone does, please credit me. If you need the Logo, or Text, I will gladly email them to you & unlike my other work, feel free to distribute this deviation, but please link back to this page. My work is still tracked with Digimark.

Mike (xpgeek), this is for you. Sorry I'm not around as much these days, you're a good friend.

Change is coming... Click Download for full view 2933 x 3604px.

As always, please have the respect to comment or fav before you download, thanks.

While I may not agree with absolutely everything Obama stands for (but who agrees with everything someone says?), I do believe that he is the right man for the job in this particular election. He will bring America out of the dump that it has been in since Clinton left office and maybe help heal the relations between the US and their allies.

Great job!

Artistically I like it. But, did you have to explain it? I think most of us got. Besides in the US bi-partisan system change flip flops between K-Y and Vaseline. I'm only commenting because you said so if I download.

Absolutely Hilarious. The Juxtoposition of the three elements, Change, the fist (meaning struggle), and the name of a toe-the-line polititian is quite amusing. Good Job.

Being a strict libertarian I absolutely abhor both major political parties and strongly feel (and vote accordingly) to make sure neither party has control of both Congress and the White House.

IMO Government works best with opposing sides control so they "do the least harm" and are forced to compromise on actual legislation that more than not helps America.

When either party has full control there is no "check and ballance" as seen on both sides so while I'm not a fan of McCain I still do not trust Obama's policy of higher taxes, wealth distribution, ect... with a Democrat controlled House/Senate.

If Republicans get control of Congress again I'll be the first in line to vote for a Democrat for the White House.

Most of our "problems" i.e. out of control spending/taxing/corruption happen when either party has full control.

With two parties Politicians compromise because they have to, not because they like to. Divided government forces them to compromise as a fact of daily life. Although compromise does not guarantee sound or successful policy-making, it does draw both parties toward the center and produce bipartisan buy-in. It's no coincidence that divided government produced the 1986 tax reform and the 1996 welfare reform, the great reforms of their respective eras.

Two-party rule also helps to marginalize partisan extremists and curb ideological excess. The Democratic Congress moderated President Reagan's unsustainable tax cuts and defense buildup, safeguarding his legacy. In the Clinton era, divided government produced a miraculously frugal fiscal detente. Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton both succeeded not in spite of divided government but because of it.

One-party rule, by contrast, impelled the Republicans to govern from the center of their party, instead of the center of the country. It made them dependent on their base, magnifying the power of partisans and extremists. On Capitol Hill, meanwhile, governing with a narrow majority had required the Republicans to protect every GOP incumbent and scrounge every GOP vote, forcing them to pander every which way. The result was the dysfunctional mixture of partisan extremism and philosophical incoherence that has characterized the party from 2002-2006. The Republicans lost their way because they won control. As McCain said Republicans came to Washington to change it but Washington ended up changing Republicans.

The Democrats took over control in 2006 but largely have been ineffective with implementing their extreme views due to Bush. If unopposed Obama will implement a very socialistic America which has proven over the centuries to ultimately fail.

Sorry for the long rant and I truly do enjoy your manipulation but in my view your dirty flag more represents the "Soiling of America" that Obama's "Change" has in store for us.
